Large Split Single Pack

Our Large Split elk antler chews are recommended for medium to large sized dogs weighing 35-65 lbs. These chews typically range in length from 6.5-9.0 inches and weigh between 6.0 oz and 8.0 oz per piece. Split chews can be highly variable in width, but as a reference, the width of these chews at the widest point is typically 1.25-2.0 inches. (Note: The dimensions listed are for reference only. Some individual pieces may fall outside of these sizing guidelines.)  All of our Split chews may be cut as either ½ or ¼ split chews.

Split chews are segments of whole chews that have been sliced down the middle, exposing the inner part of the antler. Split chews are like antler candy for your dog, providing easy access to the tasty inner marrow your dog craves. However, because the soft inner marrow is exposed, these antler chews are less durable and will not last as long as a Whole chew. Split chews are perfect for more delicate or finicky chewers, for those looking for a special treat for their dog, and/or for dogs that have never been exposed to antler chews and would benefit from experiencing the tasty marrow that can be found within. Some people will start their dog on Split chews and then transition them to the longer-lasting Whole chews once their dog has developed a taste for elk antlers.

All of our chews are cut from premium-grade, all-natural elk antler and no two antlers are alike. Variations in size, weight, shape, color, and texture will occur and should be expected. Each piece is hand-sanded to remove any sharp edges so they are as safe as possible when you serve them to your dog.
